Trauma Therapy for Women Healing
From CPTSD, Betrayal Trauma, and Narcissistic Abuse

If you feel anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself after painful relationships or life experiences, you’re not alone. Healing is possible, and you don't have to navigate it on your own.

EMDR & Trauma-Informed Therapy | Virtual Across Virginia

You May Be Feeling...

  • Stuck in patterns you can't explain

  • Constantly overthinking or on edge

  • Emotionally drained from past or current relationships

  • Disconnected from yourself or unsure of who you are anymore

  • Struggling to trust your instincts or your reality

These are not signs that something is wrong with you - they are signs your nervous system has been through too much, for too long.

This Work Might Be a Good Fit IF

  • You are healing from narcissistic abuse, emotional abuse, or betrayal

  • You recognize patterns of complex trauma (CPTSD) in yourself

  • You feel hypervigilant, anxious, or emotionally overwhelmed

  • You struggle with self-trust, boundaries, or people-pleasing

  • You want deeper healing - not just coping, but meaningful internal change

Therapy can be a space where you begin to feel grounded, clear, and more like yourself again.

Caroline Sciullo, M.A., NCC

I provide trauma-informed therapy for women in Virginia, specializing in complex trauma (CPTSD), narcissistic abuse, and betrayal trauma. I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, grief, and difficulty trusting themselves following painful or confusing relationship experiences.

My work is grounded in a deep understanding of how trauma impacts the nervous system and sense of self. I offer both in person sessions in Leesburg and secure telehealth across Virginia.

My Approach

Line

My approach integrates EMDR therapy, trauma-focused psychotherapy, and a holistic understanding of how the nervous system heals.

Rather than only talking about what happened, we work experientially to process and resolve underlying patterns so you can experience meaningful, lasting change.

Therapy is paced with intention, focusing on both stabilization and deeper healing so that you feel supported every step of the way.

Understanding What
You're Experiencing

Line

Many symptoms associated with complex trauma (CPTSD) - such as anxiety, emotional overwhelm, difficulty trusting yourself, or feeling constantly on edge - are rooted in a sensitized nervous system.

Your brain and body have learned to stay in protection mode.

Therapy helps your system gradually relearn safety, so you can feel more present, more regulated, and more in control of your life.
